The women's race walk is always a pleasure to cover. This year was no exception with strong fields across the open, high school, and junior races. Each race is covered separately with a page for each race and a photo for each competitor. As I was capturing a lot of video during the women's race. Most of the photos are from late in the race. This first collection highlights Olympian Maria Michta who was using the race as a warm up for the IAAF World Team Championships in Rome.
