Our club is for both beginning and experienced racewalkers. It meets at a local fitness center, Fitness Plus More, at 107th & Roe, in Overland Park, in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. Since this is very close to the Missouri state line, about half of our members live in Missouri. We have weekly clinics at 8:00 am on Saturdays, with coaching if desired and coaching and group stretching and walking. We also get into fun relay events. Once a month we have meetings with speakers or video presentations. Our club has been in existence since 1989 and was initially started by Debbi and Don Lawrence.
