After graduating from the University of Kansas, Mr. Anderson began his investment banking and real estate equity financing career with Paine Webber Jackson & Curtis in Kansas City. He was later asked to move to Tulsa to open and manage a new office for Paine Webber. He enjoyed this successful venture, but it wasn’t long before the world of politics came knocking on his door. Mr. Anderson moved to our nation’s capital in 1990 when he obtained a political appointment at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under President George H.W. Bush and Secretary Jack Kemp where the world of public service awaited. He was later appointed to the position of Deputy Administrator of the General Services Administration (GSA). At the end of President Bush’s Administration, Mr. Anderson remained in Washington, D.C. and re-entered the private world of residential real estate equity finance. In 2001 he returned to Kansas City. Mr. Anderson retired in 2010 and remains politically active.
