Picture perfect weather greeted the 24 Men and 14 women that started the 40K Nationals. The 2K loop through Joe Palaia park hosted many races at once. Some competitors were walking their first 5K, 10K, 20K, 40K and even some going over the distance up to 50K. Thanks go to Elliot Denman, who is ever so flexible helping all walkers feel welcome at this great event.

The racers were under the watchful eye of many certified judges like Ron Daniel.	The judges weren't the only one's watching, so were a pair of red tailed hawks.
