The lead pack started at just under 5:00/K pace and started to accelerate. They dropped Dave McGovern, John Souchek, and Steve Quirke. Meanwhile, Theron was in full force working on winning the smiling contest.
The lead pack continues to thin as they pull away from their teammate Albert Heppner.
